Description
Arrival at Adolfo Suárez Madrid – Barajas International Airport. Madrid Tour. Free afternoon. Accommodation. Welcome dinner for members of the group participating in the trip.
Breakfast. Welcome to Al-Andalus. Discover in the morning the splendors of Madrid from different historical periods with a guided tour in different parts such as Puerta del Sol or Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor and Plaza de la Villa; the Royal Palace, San Miguel Market and much more. Accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Moving towards Toledo, a World Heritage City and city of the three Christian, Moorish and Jewish cultures. Guided tour of the old town through its narrow streets. Continue to Granada.
Breakfast. In the morning we will discover different attractions in the corners of the city of Granada, visiting the Alcaicería, the Almadraza, the Corral del Carbón and much more.
Later we will visit the Alhambra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World, its palaces and beautiful gardens.
In the afternoon, we will take the route of the Tales of the Alhambra through the Albaicín with its medieval Carmenes and narrow streets.
Return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast. Depart for Cordoba to visit the World Heritage Cathedral – Mosque of Cordoba, built over 250 years preserving its masterpiece style, including its Minaret and Mihrab, and take a panoramic tour through the narrow and winding streets of the Jewish Quarter.
Return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast. Departure to Seville, Andalusian capital. Panoramic tour of the old town, and then visit the Royal Alcazar of Seville in the Moorish Mudejar architectural style.
Free time in the María Luisa Park and Plaza de España.
In the afternoon, cruise along the Wadil Kabir River, enjoying the beauty of the city from both sides. (Optional).
Return to the hotel and overnight.
Breakfast. We will leave for the city of Mérida along the Vía de la Plata, an ancient Roman road that crossed the west of Hispania from Emerita Augusta to Asturica Augusta, also constituting in more modern times the most important route of the Camino de Santiago in its southern peninsular branch. Arrival in Mérida and free time to tour its impressive historic center that houses a great heritage legacy of Roman times. Afterwards, we will continue the journey until we reach Lisbon. Breakfast. In the morning we will visit the city where we will visit its main avenues, squares and monuments. You will visit the Jerónimos Monastery, the Alfama District, the Belém Tower, etc. Free afternoon. Accommodation.
Optional excursion visit SINTRA CASCAIS AND ESTORIL.
Breakfast. Exit Lisbon to the north. Passing through the vicinity of Santarén we will arrive in Fátima, where we will enjoy free time to visit one of the most recognized pilgrimage centers of Christianity, where the apparition of the Virgin to the shepherd children took place. They will continue the journey by entering Spain again through the province of Cáceres to finally reach Madrid. Accommodation.
Breakfast (according to flight schedule). At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport to catch the flight.
